Merit Marketing Inc. at 121 Locust St., formerly known as Sacunas Incorporated, filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy last month.

PennLive reached out to the company’s attorney, Robert Chernicoff, of the Harrisburg law firm, Cunningham, Chernicoff & Warshawsky PC.

“The economic times are such that the company is unable to survive and operate profitably,” he said.
